Nothing.....but a warm heart

Today we ordered food from a delivery app. Apparently the rider assigned for the order was new and not familiar with the route. We called him several times to know about the order. Nonetheless the order was late and by the time the food was delivered it was slightly cold. Late delivery, cold food could have spoiled anyone’s mood. But in our case, it didn’t.

Because when we got the delivery, we noticed that the rider had come on a bicycle. It really warmed our heart. We could have got angry on the rider and maybe given him our piece of mind for spooling our one meal. We did not.

How often do we realise what hardships one might be facing in their personal life to earn that “do waqt ki roti”. It takes nothing to appreciate the efforts of people who do hard work for “paapi pet”.

I urge if we could just act human and appreciate the efforts of others around us, whenever possible.

Needless to mention, when we talk about the increasing pollution and unbreathble air, such “bicycle riders” emerge as the real heroes for obvious reasons.

So just appreciate, where possible and be kind, always!
